Intern Makeover: Margot Steinberg

Our Summer Social Media Intern, Margot Steinberg, has been coming to our salon for years. A junior at Muhlenberg College, Margot has a passion for graphic design, which, coupled with her years of happy experiences at our salon, made her a unique candidate for our internship.

For years Margot has come to the salon to have her thick, curly brown hair cut, but we’ve never had the chance to make any drastic changes in her look. In the past she’s asked for short, 20’s style curls or bobs, and has never had her hair professionally dyed. It has also been years since she’d had her hair straightened or blown out. So this summer we decided to give her an edgy summer hair and makeup transformation.

First, applying two different shades of RUSK hair dye, Nini highlighted Margot’s hair. Next Shea used the new Jellua Professional Haircare Shampoo and Conditioner to treat the damaged and distressed hair. While blow-drying and flat ironing, Shea used RUSK Straight Serum and the new J Beverly Hills Shine Drops to tame Margot’s naturally curly mane. Finally, Margot’s makeover was complete with BareMinerals makeup.

The end result was an edgy yet sophisticated look that showed just how versatile the stylists at H Salon really are. The highlights Margot is left with look beautiful both straight and curly, and add a youthful summer pop to her look.
